GETTING STARTED · SHARED GUIDE
Install your plugins
The same installation process applies to LCS Photoshop plugins. Use this guide to install each plugin, then follow its own workflow tutorials.
Windows & macOS · Updated 24 October 2026Before you start
- Check the supported Photoshop version and system requirements on the plugin’s product page.
- Have the supplied .ccx installer ready.
- Install the Creative Cloud desktop app and sign in to your Adobe account.
- Check the plugin’s internet requirements. Bitmap Helper PRO requires an internet connection whenever it initializes, including after a restart or reload, to verify your license and load the plugin.
Use the complete package supplied for your plugin. Install one copy using one installation method.
Install with Creative Cloud
- Open the plugin’s .ccx file with the Creative Cloud desktop app.
- Follow the installation prompts and wait for installation to complete.
- Open Photoshop. If it was already running, close and reopen it.
- Open the Plugins menu and choose the LCS plugin you installed.
Repeat these steps with each plugin’s own CCX when installing more than one LCS plugin.
Follow the plugin’s activation instructions
If the plugin prompts for activation, follow its License page. Use the trial option or enter the license key or free code supplied to you, as shown there.
Copy keys exactly, including hyphens. Wait for the plugin to confirm access before running a processing action. Trial duration and other product-specific details are listed on the relevant product page.
Continue with your plugin’s tutorials
Once installation and access are confirmed, choose your plugin in the Tutorials hub. Its guides explain the workflow, settings and output for that tool.
Use a copy of your artwork when trying a workflow for the first time.
The plugin does not appear in Photoshop
- Check that your Photoshop version meets the plugin’s requirements.
- Confirm that Creative Cloud completed the CCX installation, then restart Photoshop.
- Check that you are opening the Photoshop version in which you installed the plugin.
- For a manual installation, follow the package’s instructions and check that all supplied files are present and belong to the same release.
If the issue continues, use the support form. Include the plugin name, Photoshop version, operating system and exact error message. Do not include passwords, verification codes or private license keys.
