Installation help

If the plugin does not appear in Photoshop, follow the shared installation troubleshooting steps. Continue below for Bitmap-specific activation and conversion help.

Activation or verification did not complete

  • Key not accepted: copy the key or free code exactly as provided, including hyphens. Check for extra spaces.
  • Temporary verification failure: check the connection and use Retry license check if shown. If the page requires a reload, follow that instruction.
  • Trial or subscription expired: retrying does not extend access. Check your access status and contact support if you believe it is incorrect.
  • Device limit: if you still have access to the previous computer, open its License page and use Deactivate this computer before activating another. Otherwise, contact support.

Keep license keys and sign-in codes private. Support can investigate using your account email and order reference.

A conversion will not run

  1. Confirm the License page shows valid access.
  2. Match the source to the workflow: an unlocked RGB pixel layer for Layer, an individual channel for Channel, or an unlocked CMYK pixel layer for CMYK.
  3. Read the visible guidance beneath the action and correct the named source or setting.
  4. Use a copy of a document with one layer to check whether the issue is specific to the original file.

Channel batch conversion accepts spot and alpha channels, rather than component channels. Do not keep repeating an action that is reporting an error.

The output looks different from what I expected

  • Check the method, frequency, angle, shape and output PPI.
  • For a multicolour RGB layer, use Color artwork and Original Colors when you want a bitmap mask rather than black output.
  • Inspect the result at 100% zoom; reduced zoom can change how a fine pattern appears.
  • If output PPI differs from the source, look for the newly created document. At the same PPI, single-item output is added to the current document.
  • Change one setting at a time and start from the retained source for a useful comparison.
